Seeing the bluest blues in Banff, Alberta

Banff is one of those places that you truly have to visit to believe how beautiful it is. Nestled in the Canadian rockies, this city is resident to some of the bluest clear lakes in the world. We visited in July which is a great time to visit in terms of weather and enjoying the summer activities the town has to offer. Because we planned this short trip last minute (~3 weeks before our flight), we were skeptical if we could cover all the beauty Banff has to offer but surprisingly, Banff is pretty easy to get around and 3 full days is enough time!

Another observation I made while I was there is that Banff is very family friendly and suitable for all ages and combinations of family and friends. Whether you want to bring your parents here for a bonding trip, bring your spouse for a cozy romantic getaway, you and your closest friends for a hiking adventure, a solo mental escape from reality, or a bachelorette long weekend, I guarantee you it will be perfect for every occasion and group type.
